BIO-BASE POLYOL

MARINOH Bio-based polyol's represents the company's first ever efficiency combination of performance, production, reducing carbon footprint and cost. Although conventional polyol's derived from depleting fossil fuel are competitive in cost and are of high performances, but are unfortunately unsustainable. Natural Oil polyols based on renewable resources such as Soya Oil and Palm Oil are often lacking in its performance, cost competitiveness (volatile raw material price) and most importantly their feedstock directly competes with edible human food source.


MARINOH Bio-based polyol's on the other hand offers a state of the art combination of performances (surpasses petroleum based polyols especially in the thermal stability and chemical resistance of the end product) , low cost and the conservation of the environment as its raw material is based on a renewable marine based feedstock.


MARINOH Bio-based Polyol's technology is developed as a Green Product 'Catalyst' to either fully or partially replace traditional polyether without sacrificing its end physical properties.


MARINOH Bio-based Polyol's are produced from a Direct-Single-Stage-Reaction using a proprietary technology and a Low Cost but highly effective source of raw material - a renewable marine byproduct, effectively enabling us to create a new type of base polyol allowing our customers the marketing advantage and branding opportunities through this green differentiation strategy.


 

MARINOH Bio-based Polyol's Resins can be used as a Green Catalyst to many applications which includes pipe, roof, floor, wall, sandwich panel and refrigeration insulation, coating, ink toner, adhesive, building product and furniture. In most applications, MARINOH Bio-based Polyester Polyols are used in combination with conventional polyols to achieve the desired performance and green benefits. MARINOH Bio-based Polyol's is generally compatible with most polyester and polyether polyols where some might face limitations impacting the concentration and molecular weight of the polyols which is being blended.

PRODUCT PERFORMANCE

Rigid Polyurethane Foams produced from Green Polyester Resins are naturally better in performance than the conventional petroleum based polyethers when comparion to the Thermal Stability and Chemical Resistance.

LOW CARBON FOOTPRINT

MARINOH Bio-based Polyol's processing technology produces 46% less emission and 55% less energy consumption compared to other any other polyester and polyether technologies.


Besides that, MARINOH Bio-based Polyol's carbon footprint is estimated to be only one third of any polyether and polyester products available.
